Dr Nazirin Ariffin qualified with primary medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She has been working in the United Kingdom since then, initially in general medicine for 4 years before specializing in dermatology.
Dr Ariffin has eight years experience in general dermatology, and her special interests include aesthetic dermatology, contact dermatitis and dermatological surgery. She is currently working as a Locum Consultant Dermatologist in Southend University Hospital and Basildon University Hospital, in Essex. She is actively involved in teaching medical students and General Practitioner with special interest in Dermatology. She has written several dermatology articles which have been published in dermatology journals. She regularly attends dermatology and aesthetic conferences and courses to keep her knowledge up-to-date. She is now providing among the latest non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatments privately which include Botox therapy, skin fillers, medical skin peels, Dermaroller™ therapy and mesotherapy.
