How does it work?
Micro-medical needle-columns are introduced into the skin creating optimum penetration and stimulation of >250 channels /cm². This stimulates our own body inflammatory process, which induces collagen proliferation, maturation & remodelling of collagen. This tightens the skin and enhances & improves skin architecture & appearance.
Does it hurt?
Anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin prior to the procedure. There may be some sensitivity for instance near the corners of the nose during the procedure.
How do I look after the treatment?
The treated area will look red, resembling moderate sunburn and may feel warmer and tighter than usual. This will reduce by 50% within 1 to 2 hours and will normally recover within the same day with only slight redness the following day.
Will I see the benefit immediately?
No. The maximal effect after each Dermaroller™ Therapy can be seen in about 6 weeks (the amount of time for collagen remodelling). You may need more than one treatment to reach the desired effect.
